The world is a lot right now. You know it. I know it. We're all carrying a little more weight than usual this week.
But here's the thing I keep coming back to: most of us chose work that actually helps people. We solve problems. We make things look better. We make things feel easier. We show up for people when they're stuck.
That's not nothing. That's a lot, actually.
So if you're having trouble finding the motivation to sit down and do the thing today, try this instead: forget about the metrics. Forget about the algorithm. Just think about the one person on the other end of your work who's going to feel better because you showed up.
Go be the good thing that happens to somebody today.
