It's called the "I See This All The Time" post. The idea is simple: you name a pattern you keep noticing with clients, in your industry, or just in the world you work in every day. That's it. No big framework. No five-step system. Just an honest observation from someone who's been paying attention.
What it is
This post leads with something you've noticed repeatedly. Not once. Not twice. Repeatedly. The repetition is what gives it credibility. You're not guessing. You're reporting.
It sounds like: "I see this with almost every client who comes to me." Or: "This keeps coming up in my industry and nobody's talking about it." Or just: "Here's something I've noticed."
When to use it
Use this post type when you want to build trust without selling anything. It works especially well when you're feeling stuck on what to post, because you don't need a topic. You need an observation. Those are already in your head. You just haven't written them down yet.
It also works well at the start of the week. Monday readers aren't looking for homework. They're looking for someone to help them make sense of things. This post type does that.
How to write one
Start with the pattern. One or two sentences that name what you keep seeing. Be specific enough that the right person recognizes themselves immediately.
Then explain why it happens. Not to shame anyone. Just to make the thing make sense. This is where your expertise shows up without you having to announce it.
Then tell them what to do instead, or just what to notice. One clear takeaway. You're not writing a course. You're having a conversation.
Close by letting them off the hook. Most people reading this post are going to recognize themselves in it. The last thing they need is to feel called out. Let them feel seen instead.
